Warwick has a number of dedicated milk expressing/breastfeeding rooms to assist those returning from maternity leave who are still breastfeeding:
- Gibbet Hill.
- The Library.
- The Nursery.
- Social Sciences.
- University House.
If you'd like more information about expression facilities on campus and can't find what you need here, contact us and let us know.
The old WMS reception (now room A0.23), has been converted into a Family and Reflection room suitable for expressing milk and breastfeeding. The room can be used by any staff member when it is not already in use for rest breaks, reflection, or any other appropriate reasons.
Find more information about the Gibbet Hill Family and Reflection room and find A0.23 on the campus map.
There is a baby change room near the women's toilets on the ground floor of the Library, which staff can use to express milk.
The Nursery has space available to parents of children currently attending the Nursery or to prospective parents who are visiting the Nursery by appointment, where parents can express milk or breastfeed privately.
There is an expression room in the Social Sciences building (room S1.49). Users will need an access code to use the room, which they will receive after booking.
Find more information about the Social Sciences nursing room and find S1.49 on the campus map.
The milk expression room in University House is located behind the main reception area.
