Ordinance 14: Degree Ceremonies
(1) |
The University will hold Degree Ceremonies for the purpose of presenting graduates of the University. |
(2) | The Degree Ceremonies will be held at least once every year at such time and place as determined by the Senate, and will be presided over by the Chancellor, or, in the Chancellor’s absence, the Pro-Chancellor or the Vice-Chancellor. In the event of the Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor being absent a Degree Ceremony may be presided over by the Provost or a Pro-Vice-Chancellor. |
(3) | The procedures for Degree Ceremonies and all other matters relating to Degree Ceremonies will be determined by the Senate. |
