Good health and safety risk management involves the identification of hazards and assessment of risk, so that existing control measures can be assessed for adequacy.
In line with the University's Travel Risk Management Policy, if you are travelling on University business to an overseas territory that has a Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office warning, you are required to complete a risk assessment prior to travelling. It is the responsibility of the person travelling to ensure they have completed a risk assessment before making any travel bookings.
The following form should be used and should be signed off by the person authorising the travel, or nominee. Copies of completed forms must be retained by the traveller’s home department.
