At its penultimate meeting of the academic year last week, University Council covered a range of strategic topics, including an update on the challenges facing the HE sector, an overview of student mental health and Warwick’s response, and the restated business case for the STEM Connect Programme.

As well as regular assurance updates from its sub-committees and Senate, Council noted the report from the Warwick Students’ Union (SU) Quinquennial Review, together with the response from Warwick SU. A revised set of Institutional Key Performance Indicators, the University Strategic Risk Register and Risk Appetite Statements were also presented for approval.
