Terms of Reference

  1. To co-ordinate the development and alignment of the University’s international activities across student recruitment, education, mobility and opportunity, campus experience, research, development and alumni, and international partnerships in accordance with the University’s 2030 strategy and relevant individual strategies.
  2. To work with, and consider recommendations from, other University committees, departments and groups as required to support the development and alignment of the University’s international activities.
  3. To monitor our international activities and report on progress against key performance indicators and milestones.
  4. To identify, evaluate and make recommendations on strategic-level international opportunities.
  5. To monitor, and influence, the development of national and international policies relevant to the University’s international activities.
  6. To oversee the development of a communication and engagement plan relating to our international activities for internal University audiences as well as for key national and international external audiences and stakeholders.
  7. To report and make recommendations to Academic Strategy Committee, as well as to UEB, Education Committee, Senate and Council as required.
