Terms of Reference
(i) To consider and approve the overarching strategic priorities for the professional services.
(ii) To consider and approve professional service strategic plans for key areas, ensuring that these support delivery of the University Strategy.
(iii) To consider and recommend to the Financial Plan Sub-Committee for approval, budgets and financial plans for the professional services.
(iv) To provide the University (Executive Board) with an assurance and accountability mechanism with regard to the services and deliverables of the professional services through scrutiny of strategic plans and evaluation of agreed key performance metrics.
(v) To review and evaluate performance of professional service departments, including against agreed key performance metrics, and to identify departments or specific cross-cutting areas for strategic review.
Reporting Structure
The Professional Services Steering Committee will report to the University Executive Board and, on financial matters to the Financial Plan Sub-Committee.

Papers for consideration by the Professional Services Steering Committee should be submitted to the Secretary (via PSG at warwick dot ac dot uk) three weeks in advance of the meeting at which they are to be considered.
Meetings
The Professional Services Steering Committee will meet twice annually in October/November and May in line with the University financial planning process.
