a. Regulatory Framework and Principles

In this section, you can find the policies and frameworks which define the University's principles and standards for academic regulation and policy.

b. Qualifications and Curriculum

In this section, you can find information on the policies, principles and frameworks that underpin the University's qualifications and curriculum. This includes course and module approval processes, quality assurance activities, collaborative provision, degree apprenticeships, placement learning, and related regulations and guidance.

c. Admissions (Fees, and Funding)

In this section, you can read more on the requirements placed on students before their arrival at the University, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and regulations related to fees and funding. To be admitted onto a programme, applicants must meet both the general entrance requirements and the specific requirements of an approved programme.

d. Student Registration and Attendance

In this section, you can find information on enrolment, registration and attendance requirements at the University. This section also includes information on attendance and engagement monitoring.

e. Taught Student Assessment, Progression and Award

In this section, you can find information on the University's rules and practices related to the assessment of taught students. This includes examinations and assessment, marking and feedback degree classifications. It also covers progression rules, Boards of Examiners, exit and final awards, and specific guidance for postgraduate, undergraduate, and degree apprenticeship programmes. These regulations and policies apply to taught programmes or taught components of research awards and should be read in conjunction with programme and module specifications.
