Start of visit / meeting - The following instruction is to be given by the host at the start of each visit / meeting:-

“We are not aware of any proposed fire alarm test today. Therefore, should the fire alarm sound – could I ask that you proceed to nearest fire exit, following the fire exit signs, and make your way to the assembly point outside the front entrance to the building facing the main car park.”

If the person(s) visiting the facility are likely to be working separately to their host, then they should be made aware of the Fire Action procedures.
