Course Overview - Electrical Awareness

Brief descriptor An introduction to fundamental health & safety matters appropriate to the changing of light bulbs, including:
  • Introduction to electricity
  • Associated risk
  • Type of fittings available
  • Procedure for the changing of light bulbs etc
  • Disposal of spent light bulbs
Who is it for? Employees (non-maintenance staff) who are required to change light bulbs, strip-lights and similar fittings within the Commercial Group.
What will the participant get out of this? Employees will receive a general awareness to enable them to carry out changing of light bulbs in a safe manner.
