Brief descriptor An introduction to fundamental health & safety matters appropriate to step-ladder safety, including:
  • What is “work at height”?, accident statistics
  • Associated legislation, legal obligations
  • Appropriate step-ladders, working off step-ladders, visual checks
  • Standard operating procedure
Who is it for? All employees who have cause to use step-ladders as part of their normal daily duties.
What will the participant get out of this? Employees will receive a general awareness to enable them to set up, work off & take down step-ladders in a safe manner and to undertake out basic visual checks.
