To be able to assess any hazards presented by working at height and derive appropriate safe working methods

Who is it for?

Who must attend – all who need to use access equipment or use a harness.

What will the participant get out of this?

Be able to minimise the risks when working at height is deemed necessary. Reminder of the correct use of ladders and stepladders and other access equipment. The selection and use of fall restraint and fall arrest equipment when assessment or standard operating procedures have deemed it necessary.

Participant preparation needed?

Good general level of fitness

Any prior knowledge or experience required?

Must be comfortable with ladder / height work - no significant height phobias
