Authentication service update: finalising migration from ADFS to Microsoft Entra ID

Please be aware that over the coming weeks, we will be carrying out essential work to retire ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) and migrate authentication services to Microsoft Entra ID.

Most staff will not experience any disruption, and no action is required. A small number of users may be asked to reset their account as part of the migration and will be contacted directly if required.

We are planning to complete this work by the end of September 2026. This work will improve the security, reliability and supportability of our authentication services.
