SiteBuilder 2.595 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.595 on Tuesday 22nd October 2024. Changes in this update include:
- Researcher profile components placed inside a tabs/accordion component will now display text in the correct colours.
- We've updated the masthead and footer in the University's common website template in response to Warwick's latest brand guidelines:
- The masthead now uses a standard version of the Warwick logo, and the utility menu background is solid white.
- The "W" window device from the footer is now gone from sites using the solid footer style. A future change will address sites using the line footer style.
- The primary colour for a site can now be set to any of the new brand colours. Previously, some of these colours did not provide sufficient colour contrast to comply with accessibility legislation. Where necessary, heading and link text is darkened and the background colour of the secondary navigation lightened to ensure contrast. This change also applies where any primary site colour would not provide sufficient contrast.
- A small number of staff members within Marketing, Communications, Insight & Student Recruitment (MCISR) now have global admin permissions on all sites within SiteBuilder. This feature will be used by the Web and Digital Marketing Team for their work with departments and page owners, and will avoid problems caused by missing permissions on pages or files within a site. Our pending site owner functionality will ultimately serve a similar purpose for users with responsibility for a specific site.
