Tabula release notes

We released Tabula 2019.8.4 on Thursday 22 August 2019. This release includes:

• Further work to improve accessibility
• Security enhancements
• Bug fixes
• Further work on the upcoming Mitigating Circumstances functionality

We released Tabula 2019.8.3 on Thursday 15 August 2019. This release includes:

• New functionality for the Tabula API: it's now possible to search for members of a department using filters. This was already possible in the Tabula user interface.
• Improvements, including some to make it easier to use Tabula with only a keyboard:
  • Using the <Tab> key to move from the last item in a dropdown, e.g. for exam grid filters, now closes the dropdown
  • You can now use the <Esc> key to close dropdowns

• Further work on the upcoming Mitigating Circumstances functionality

We released Tabula 2019.8.2 on Thursday 8 August 2019. This release includes:

• A new feature: you can now produce a report of missed assessments from the Reports page. This includes submissions that are late or missing for assignments with a close date within the date range you specify.
• Improvements
• Security enhancements
• Bug fixes
• Further work on the upcoming Mitigating Circumstances functionality

We released Tabula 2019.8.1 on Thursday 1 August 2019. This release features:

• Accessibility improvements, including:
  • Help text and modals are available when you hover your mouse over or select an item. These are now also accessible using just the <Tab> and <Space> keys on a keyboard.
  • In the activity stream, the order in which items are selected when you move between them using the <Tab> key is now more intuitive.
  • Attendance notes are now easier to add using only a keyboard because the Absence type dropdown is automatically selected.
• Other improvements, including:
  • We have added a checkbox to enable you to select / deselect all when you manually add students to a small group using a SITS query.
  • Markers can review their marking using the 'Review' button for each assignment on their Coursework Management homepage. This button is now available regardless of the marking workflow stage.
  • It's no longer possible for a student's university ID to be 'active' in Tabula when removed from central university systems before its inactivation date. For example, a student will no longer remain on a monitoring scheme for a department after transferring to a different department.
• Security enhancements
• Bug fixes, including:
  • Feedback audit pages for students on assignments with no workflow now display the current feedback, whether published or not.
• Further work on the upcoming Mitigating Circumstances functionality.

We released Tabula 2019.7.4 on Thursday 25 July 2019. This release features:

• Improvements, including:
  • You can now report your students' missed monitoring points from other departments to SITS. The 'View by student and report to SITS e:Vision' page within Monitoring Points now includes points from other departments for the selected students.
  • Students with a year abroad now see a year weighting of 0% for that year on the Modules page in their profiles.
  • Further accessibility improvements.
• Security enhancements
• Bug fixes, including:
  • The Modules page of students' profiles now shows the correct year weighting for each year. When year weightings change on a course for new students, existing students still see the weightings that were in place when they started.
• Further work on the upcoming Mitigating Circumstances functionality.
