As a manager I have read and agree to the principles within the ‘ways of working’ document
I have spoken explicitly to the team member concerned about the required development needs
I accept that coaching is not mentoring, training or counselling
The team member has agreed to be coached and enter into a coaching relationship with a qualified coaching professional from within the internal coaching scheme.
I acknowledge that a coaching relationship typically lasts 4-6 months.
As the line manager I agree to provide active support and encouragement to the coachee and commit to engaging with the 3-way coaching meetings and actions and will participate in meetings at the start, midpoint and end of the 3-way coaching relationship
This 3 way coaching is part of a formal performance review process
