Grade 1 (Beginner)

Grade 2-6 (Beginner+ to Advanced)
- 15-week course, £157.50 / £112.50 for Tennis+ members

Player grade levels
Our Learn.Train.Play coaching programme includes 6 grading levels, so you can book the right course based on your tennis experience.
Grade 1 (Beginner)
- New to tennis or returning to tennis after a long absence.
Grade 2 (Beginner+)
- Has completed at least one block of Beginner coaching classes, or is returning to tennis, having played occasionally during their absence.
Grade 3 (Social / club player)
- Plays regular singles and/or doubles matches during club social tennis sessions and enters club competitions or ladders.
Grade 4 (Club team player)
- Regular player who could compete to lower-level team matches or has played some competitions.
Grade 5 (Club first team)
- Currently plays for or has played for the club first team, and sometimes competes in competitions outside their club.
Grade 6
- Plays regular representative tennis at county or national level in any age group and has a LTA ranking.
Useful information
- You can book at any point during any of the course dates.
- A racquet will be provided for all courses, but feel free to bring your own.
- Please wear sportswear and non-marking soled trainers.
- Bring a drink.
