Hannah Burnage

About Hannah

"I started archery at 14, having tried it while on holiday the year before. I was hooked instantly and started competing within a few months.

I’ve had several ups and downs due to a shoulder problem, but the support I gain from the scholarship programme will enable me to manage this and to keep competing at National level. I started at Warwick University in second year of undergrad, and am now in my first year of PhD, and in that time the team here has helped me thrive in my sport, going from 86th in the rankings in 2016, to 13th in 2018.In 2019 I was picked to represent GB at the World University Games in Italy, alongside two other Warwick scholars.

I hope to continue representing the country throughout my time at Warwick. "
