How has our engagement in sport changed over the last 50 years, and what do we need to do to get more people active in the years ahead? For this week’s 50@50 we spoke to Jen Emeny-Green, Sports Development Coordinator for Warwick Sport, to hear her views on this topic and to find out a bit more about her team’s work engaging as many people in sport at Warwick as possible.
Swimmers Success at BUCS
Once again Warwick Swimmers have had a fantastic weekend achieving an amazing 13 club records and beating the total BUCS points achieved last year with 12 points.
Archers on target as BUCS records fall
For the fourth consecutive year, more student archers than ever competed in the BUCS Indoor Archery Championships. Warwick's Tom Hall, part of the winning men’s team and third individually said “We felt in previous years we could win it and we didn't quite manage it but this year we knew we could do it!" [photos]
Warwick University will host teams for European U17 Championship in 2018
England will host the UEFA Under 17 European Championships in 2018, with the tournament to be staged at venues across the Midlands.The FA's national football centre at St George’s Park will be the headquarters for the tournament, with teams also based at Warwick.
