Language Centre

Do you want to add a language to your degree?

At the Language Centre, you can study a new language or continue a language you've already studied.

You can take a language as part of your degree or as an extra course to study independently. Beyond grammar and vocabulary, we delve into the heart of cultures and societies, allowing you to gain multilingual skills that will enhance your employability in areas like business, tourism, and international relations.

Academic Language modules

Most degrees allow you to take a language module for credit as part of your degree.
Modules on the academic programme can also be taken in addition to an undergraduate degree course.

Languages offered: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
