The University of Warwick is a welcoming destination for Palestinian students choosing to study overseas. We welcome applications for our Foundation, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research courses. English Language
If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide evidence of an English language qualification to demonstrate your ability. This could be an IELTS or TOEFL examination, for example. You can find further information here for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, including the minimum requirements.
International Foundation Programme
For applicants who would like to apply for our IFP, we would require you to achieve the General Secondary Education Certificate, with a minimum required grade of 80%.
Undergraduate Courses
For applicants to our Undergraduate courses who have studied the General Secondary Education Certificate, we would require you to complete a suitable foundation programme, such as the Warwick International Foundation Programme.
Postgraduate Courses
For applicants looking to apply to our Postgraduate Taught or Research degrees, we typically require:
- a score of 85% or 'Excellent' is considered comparable to a UK 1st
- a score of 80%, GPA 3.0, 'Very Good' or 'B' is considered comparable to a UK 2.1
- a score of 70%, GPA 2.5, 'Good' or 'C' is considered comparable to a 2.2.
Please note however, the standing of the awarding institution is important and equivalents may vary.
