How did you hear about Warwick?

I was looking for the best universities in the Uk to study accounting and finance and I found that the University of Warwick was ranked 3rd at that time.

Where else did you consider studying?/ Where did your friends or siblings go?

I had applied to a few popular Australian universities and also to 4 more universities in Uk such as Leeds, Manchester, LSE and Sheffield.

Why did you choose Warwick over other UK universities and other universities in the world?

I believed that Warwick was the best in terms of the atmosphere, culture and quality of education.

Was your arrival and orientation okay? What were your first impressions/highlights?

The welcome week here was very helpful. I could easily find everything that I needed and all my queries were answered by the student community. I was also very impressed by the way students were welcomed and given the campus tour.

What is the best thing about Warwick?

The cultural diversity is exceptional and the facilities available on Campus are amazing.

What are your impressions of your accommodation? Is this on campus/off campus?

The accommodation was very nice. I stayed on campus during my first year and I definitely enjoyed my time there.

Are you a member of any societies? If so, what have you done with them?

I am a member of the Mauritian Society and Finance society. The Mauritian society reunites all Mauritians studying at the university and organises fun activities and events from time to time. The Finance society gives insights about current and predicted market news, which helps me to learn and understand how the financial market operates.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I hope to secure a nice job in the finance sector in the Uk where I can learn a lot and benefit from a good salary as well.
