The PGT Sanctuary Scholarship Application Form below is divided into 6 sections:
- About you (your personal details and contact information)
- Sanctuary eligibility (your immigration status and right to study)
- Education eligibility (your previous qualifications and Postgraduate Taught degree course choice)
- Referee details (contact details for your referee - this should be someone who knows you in a professional capacity, such as a tutor, lecturer, employer or solicitor)

Required Attachments / Documents (evidence of your Sanctuary eligibility and right to study, your personal statement and your referee's supporting statement)
- Declaration

The deadline for applications is 23:59 (11:59pm) on Friday 7th June 2024.
Please note that Postgraduate Taught Sanctuary Scholarships are available for up to 1 year of full-time study (2 years part-time) for the following Postgraduate Taught courses starting in September 2024:

Full-time or part-time postgraduate Masters programme (LLM, MA, MSc or MRes)
- Full-time Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

In addition, the following courses are not eligible for the PGT Sanctuary Scholarship award:
- Module based courses (courses not achieving 180 CATS over a 1 year full-time or 2 year part-time basis)
- Distance Learning courses
- Postgraduate courses leading to a Doctoral qualification (such as a PhD)

We keep all personal data in accordance with our Information and Records Management Policy and the University Records Retention Schedule. Your personal data will be retained while your learner relationship with the University continues and up to 2 years after it ceases. Holding data for this duration will enable us to offer ongoing support, information, advice and guidance from the University. |
