Confirming your details for use in preparing a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
Thank you for visiting this webpage to confirm or amend the personal details we hold about you that will be required once you have firmly accepted and met all conditions of our offer. If you have not yet received a personal email asking you to complete this form, please do not proceed.
This page refers to the personal email sent to you by the Postgraduate Admissions Service regarding the issue of a Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (a CAS). The email subject line would have read " ACTION REQUIRED: Instructions regarding the issue of your CAS (surname reference no.)".
Please read that email carefully and then select the statement that best describes your position:
Visiting Research Students and Study up to 6 months
If you are coming to Warwick as a Visiting Research student and will be studying for less than 6 months, it is likely that you will not need a CAS.
You will receive more information about a Visa Supporting Letter to apply for a Standard Visitor Visa when you receive an offer. Further information on this visa route can be found here: https://warwick.ac.uk/study/international/immigration/othervisas/generalvisitor/Link opens in a new window
Student visa applicants requiring a CAS
Complete and correct
Only choose this option if you will be applying for a Student Visa and have thoroughly checked that the details contained within our email are correct.
I need to make changes
Choose this option if you will be applying for a Student Visa but some of the information in our email is incorrect or missing. For example, if we have recorded your previous qualification incorrectly, you should use this option to provide/correct this information. If just your passport information is missing or incorrect, you can provide this when selecting the complete/correct option above.
I do not require a CAS
By selecting this option you are advising us that you already hold the correct immigration permission to enrol on your chosen programme of study. You will not be applying for a Student Visa and/or do not require a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) as you have a valid visa with which to start your course. This option contains links to a number of relevant pages so that you may carry out a self-assessment of the suitability of your current immigration permissions.
Please note that if you currently hold a Student Visa related to another course, you will need to obtain a new CAS and a Warwick Student Visa before you will be permitted to enrol on the new course in most cases. If you are an EU Student and have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, you will likely not require a CAS and should choose this option to confirm this.
