Social and Cultural Activity

Your course will keep you busy academically, but we want to ensure that you also have an opportunity to enjoy your time on campus and experience many of the UK’s cultural highlights with your new friends.

Our Ambassadors

A key part of the programme are our fantastic student ambassadors who are all existing Warwick students from a range of degree courses. Every year our ambassadors have been rated as one of the best parts of the programme. Our ambassadors will help students to settle into the programme, join in all the planned social and cultural activities, stay over in Halls and offer pastoral support. They offer a fantastic insight into life as a student at Warwick and also arrange lots of informal entertainment in the evenings.

The programme includes a number of evening events at various venues across our large campus:

  • A welcome barbecue on the first evening
  • A welcome event and team building
  • A fun curry, quiz and karaoke night
  • Tenpin bowling night

We will visit the dreaming spires of Oxford, home to the world famous University of Oxford, stunning architecture, the Ashmolean museum and various locations used in the Harry Potter films.

We will enjoy a guided punt on the River Cherwell and the trip will include some free time with your student ambassadors to explore.

You will enjoy a full programme of activities for your visit to London.

The visit will take in many of London’s top sights including a guided tour at the Houses of Parliament, Covent Garden, West End theatre show and a spin on the London Eye.

Please note: The Social Programme may be subject to change based on availability and the weather
