Dr Marta Ajmar's is at the confluence between academia, museums and the world of practice. Dr Marta Ajmar is a Renaissance/Early Modern specialist in global material culture and histories of design and making.

Dr Jess Savage's main research interests surround climate change, nature-based solutions, human-ecosystem interactions, and the monitoring of marine resources, impact assessments. Ultimately, identifying the best means of integrating local resource-dependent communities into the habitat conservation, monitoring, and management.

Katie Files

Katie Files is currently a first year PhD student in Global Sustainable Development, funded by the Midlands4Cities programme run by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). Katie's research focuses on the importance of historical knowledge when making decisions surrounding land use and land planning, especially in the contexts of uncertainty created by climate change and biodiversity loss.
