Ideal for groups or individuals working towards an event or looking for new ideas to share their work.

Warwick Institute of Engagement's Promotion and Reward Learning Circle team up with Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) each year to run this series of support workshops for academic staff looking to apply for a promotion.

The sessions will include information from WIE about putting together your Impact, Outreach and Engagement case, and from WIHEA who will talk through the process more broadly. Both teams will feature presentations from staff recently promoted, some advice on framing applications and plenty of time for questions and answers. There are two sessions running, one for staff looking to apply to become a Senior Teaching Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow/ Associate Professor, and one for staff looking to become a Reader/ Professor.

The IoP Communicators Conference is running again this year on the 14th of November. It is an opportunity for science communicators of all stripes and experience across industry, academia, and more to gather. The event will feature networking opportunities, workshops, posters, and talks

The event is free and open to all, whilst physics is the focus you do not need to be working in physics to attend. It will be taking place at the Institute of Physics in London. There is also an online option for those unable to attend in person.

The WIE Conference is officially back for 2025. Our annual conference is a chance for discussion around key topics relevant to public engagement. We're working on the programme for 2025 - and inviting you to submit your ideas for us - so more details will be coming in the spring. Overall we aim for a conference that can offer something to a wide range of people - we'll have a mix of break out sessions so you can tailor your experience to you.
