WIE/ WIHEA Academic Promotions Support - Senior Teaching Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow/ Associate ProfessorWarwick Institute of Engagement's Promotion and Reward Learning Circle team up with Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) each year to run this series of support workshops for academic staff looking to apply for a promotion. The sessions will include information from WIE about putting together your Impact, Outreach and Engagement case, and from WIHEA who will talk through the process more broadly. Both teams will feature presentations from staff recently promoted, some advice on framing applications and plenty of time for questions and answers. There are two sessions running, one for staff looking to apply to become a Senior Teaching Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow/ Associate Professor, and one for staff looking to become a Reader/ Professor. |

Institute of Physics Communicators ConferenceLondonThe IoP Communicators Conference is running again this year on the 14th of November. It is an opportunity for science communicators of all stripes and experience across industry, academia, and more to gather. The event will feature networking opportunities, workshops, posters, and talks The event is free and open to all, whilst physics is the focus you do not need to be working in physics to attend. It will be taking place at the Institute of Physics in London. There is also an online option for those unable to attend in person.
