Facilitating Effective meetings

This two hour facilitation skills workshop will focus on how you can build your skills and confidence to run much more on effective meetings. We use a combination of demonstrations, practice in small groups, peer reflection, expert guidance and taught content to help you build the skills and confidence you need. Through this training you will:

• Learn to create engaging environments - discover how to build truly participative spaces where everyone feels empowered to join in.
• Gain new methods, activities and tools - gain new tactics to shape sessions, spark discussion, inspire ideas and support productive conversations.
• Build skills and confidence - strengthen your abilities as a facilitator, especially working with complex dynamics, so you can take on any challenge.
• Practise, practise, practise: you will have the chance to try your new skills out in practice, and watch others in action too.
• Refresh your practice - learn from others, gain new perspectives and ideas, and come away feeling excited about facilitating your next session.

You’ll come away from our training empowered to facilitate any workshop, with a toolbox packed with methods you can instantly apply. There will then be a 90 minute follow up session later in the year to troubleshoot any questions that have come up for you as you apply your new skills.
