With more than 490 acres across campus to look after it takes a dedicated Estates team to support and maintain our spaces.- and we're recruiting!

Come along to our jobs evening on Wednesday 23 January between 4 and 7pm to find out more about many exciting opportunities in our Estates Department including waste services, post and portering, gardening, grounds maintenance and cleaning services.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet with our recruitment managers, find out more about the university and the role you’re interested in. We will also be holding interviews on the evening for some roles so bring along your CV for the chance to be interviewed.

We’ll be celebrating Chinese New Year with the Lord Mayor of Coventry at the Canley Pop Up Café. Join us to meet your neighbours, share stories and learn more about the local community, all while enjoying free refreshments and home-cooked dishes. What’s more, you can also bring along your bike for a free maintenance check with Dr Bike and try a yoga taster session!

A Celebration of Orchards and Fruit
Location will be confirmed after registration

Please register in advance here if you'd like to join us.

Staff, students and members of the community are invited to join us for a celebration of orchards and local fruits.

The event will start with the planting of local species of apple, pear and cherry in a newly selected orchard location.

Talks will follow on the importance of orchards in the landscape and their impact on wildlife, as well as poetry reading.

Speakers include:

  • Ian Jelley, Director of Living Landscapes at the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
  • Andy Howard, Midshires Orchard Group and the Heritage Fruit Tree Company
  • Nigel Hutchinson, local Poet

Light refreshments will be provided.

Please bring sensible clothing and footwear including a change of shoes to be worn inside.

Please note that you will receive details on the location of the tree planting prior to the event.
