A Celebration of Orchards and Fruit

Please register in advance here if you'd like to join us.

Staff, students and members of the community are invited to join us for a celebration of orchards and local fruits.

The event will start with the planting of local species of apple, pear and cherry in a newly selected orchard location.

Talks will follow on the importance of orchards in the landscape and their impact on wildlife, as well as poetry reading.

Speakers include:

  • Ian Jelley, Director of Living Landscapes at the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
  • Andy Howard, Midshires Orchard Group and the Heritage Fruit Tree Company
  • Nigel Hutchinson, local Poet

Light refreshments will be provided.

Please bring sensible clothing and footwear including a change of shoes to be worn inside.

Please note that you will receive details on the location of the tree planting prior to the event.
