It is necessary for the performance of student membership and participation in the volunteer project(s) that WV processes your data, personal data will not be shared or disclosed to any third parties external to the University of Warwick except project leaders (who may be other students or external organisations) for the purposes of running your chosen volunteer project(s) and other than Mailchimp, the email company which is used to send out the newsletter.
Your personal data will be kept securely by the University of Warwick and will be retained for a period of 6 years. The University of Warwick is the Data Controller of this information and is committed to protecting the rights of individuals in line with Data Protection Legislation. We may take photos or film during the volunteering event to help promote Warwick volunteers activities and demonstrate the impact of the work our volunteers do. By registering to attend the one off volunteering activity you are consenting to photos, footage and/or audio taken at the event being used by the University of Warwick for the purposes mentioned above. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform the project leader or member of staff at the event and we will make sure you are not included.
