Where is Family Day?

At the University of Warwick. It’s taking place at Warwick Arts Centre, Warwick Sport, and across some of the outdoor spaces on campus.

How do I get there?

Warwick Arts Centre and Warwick Sport are situated at the heart of the University of Warwick, between Coventry and Kenilworth, just three miles from Coventry city centre. Warwick Arts Centre is served by the A45, A46, M40 and M42 as well as bus routes 11, 12, 16 and U1/U17.

Where can I park?

There are over 2000 safe parking spaces very near to Warwick Arts Centre and the Sports Centre. Follow the signs for car parks 7 or 8 when you arrive and you will only be, at most, three minutes away. Monday – Friday: after 6pm free / Saturday & Sunday: all day free.

Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes. Baby changing facilities are located in both Warwick Arts Centre and Warwick Sport.

Is there hot water available for making formula?

Yes. You can get hot water from the various cafes on site.

Is Family Day accessible?

Yes. Both Warwick Arts Centre and Warwick Sport are accessible. You can find out more about access at the Arts Centre here and the Sports Centre by calling 024 765 23011/23039.

What happens if it rains?

We have plenty of indoor space across the site and a programme of wet weather activity should it rain.

Where can I leave my buggy?

We aim to provide a space for you to leave your buggies. Ask a member of staff on arrival for more information.

Is there a crèche?

Sadly not. Parents and carers are required to supervise children at all times.

Is the programme suitable for my young children?

Yes. We have a broad programme of events and activities suitable for a range of ages. Visit the 'What's on' page for more information.

Do I need to book in advance?

There is no need to book to attend Family Day. Entrance is FREE so you can just turn up any time between 10am and 5pm. Some theatre shows are ticketed, so we recommend you book these in advance.
