Celebrating Academic Integrity: SU Advice Centre

Digital Arts and Humanities Lab - Learn to code (2/3) - building interactive museum exhibits

No previous experience needed. Program Raspberry Pi microcontrollers, sensors, motors, lights, screens, to add interactivity to exhibits. We will demonstrate how this can be done with no coding, using a visual programming technique. DAHL has equipment that you can use for your experiments, including Pi computers and robot kits. We will also demonstrate how the Python programming language can be used to do more advanced coding.

Research Refresh, is a drop in and out of event, that gives PGRs the opportunity to take a break from their work, chat with other researchers, and enjoy some board games, as well as free coffee, cakes and snacks. These sessions are also a great opportunity to network with other researchers, discuss your research, and to take a breather so that you can return to your work refreshed and relaxed. Every week, one or two of our Research and Academic Support Librarians will also be at the event and will be available for you to discuss your research needs, to talk about your research, and to help you get the most out of the Library services. This is the perfect chance to find out exactly how our Librarians can support you throughout your PhD journey.
