I ’m a second-year history of art student and part of the digital team. I got involved when a course mate brought me to one of the meetings and I saw the project as a great initiative, allowing us to learn about the history of our university whilst developing our own skills.

I’ve been managing the Instagram account, posting content and designing graphics that match the style guide and logo created by Madeleine Snowdon. I’ve also been conducting my own research when finding content, using the sources I’ve learned about from the staff at the MRC.

The photos from the 70’s have been particularly enjoyable with the groovy hairstyles and somewhat questionable fashion...

Another highlight was when I came across a file full of letters on how my course came to be available at Warwick, and what History of Art students tend to be like. It's interesting to see different perspectives and find links between the student experience then and now. With the pandemic our online presence has become more important than ever. the follower feedback has been testament to the value we are all able to bring.

The ongoing support, the creative ideas spurned from the crisis, and determination of all team members has made me proud to be a part of such a project.
