AI in digital arts and humanities
About this session
Date: 14th February 2024

Overview: In this introductory session we consider three common goals when using technology in arts and humanities research:
- Finding and understanding patterns in big data;
- Zooming-in and empathising with the stories and experiences of real people in real situations.
- Experimenting to explore the nature, limits, and potential of being human.
We consider examples of how AI might be applied for each of these, and how research in one area may spark explorations in another.
