Research
My current research project, 'What's at stake in the fake? Indian pharmaceuticals, African markets and global health' is funded by a £1.5m Collaborative Award from the Wellcome Trust (2018-2023). This project critically re-examines our collective common about fake drugs and global health. In my individual research for 'What's at stake in the fake' I continue to ask questions about the politics of health in colonial and postcolonial India (particularly the Tamil-speaking south). In addition to collaborative writing within the project team, I am currently writing a monograph, Small Pharma.
