Warwick Marrow appeal
Warwick Marrow are running an event on Tuesday 25th February from 10-5pm. We will be located in the SU and Oculus all day and in the Zeeman building from 11am onwards.
Warwick Marrow are a student led-branch of the national charity Anthony Nolan, we run events on campus in order to sign up people between the ages of 16 and 30 to the stem cell register to find matches that can potentially lead to a second chance of life for many patients with blood cancers and disorders.
Team Margot’s main aim as a charity is to increase the number of people on the stem cell register from mixed heritage and BAME backgrounds. This is because the chance of an individual from a BAME background finding a lifesaving match outside of their family is only around 20%.
The more people on the register means more potential lives saved and it only takes 5 minutes so please come and see us!
