GSD podcast discussion: Sustainability origins, education and solutions
A live discussion based on our podcast episode on sustainability. Dr Alastair Smith, Senior Teaching Fellow in Global Sustainable Development, will be joined by one of our current students to talk about the origins of the sustainability discourse, tracing its surprising history through to our current understanding of sustainable development.
You’ll be encouraged to join the conversation by asking questions such as:
- Is sustainability a new idea?
- What do we mean by education for sustainable development?
- How can we create a more sustainable world for all?
