This is our first meeting for edition 5 of Choix Goncourt UK. Choix Goncourt UK is a joint initiative of the Académie Goncourt, the Maison Française d’Oxford, the Higher Education, Research and Innovation Department at the French Embassy, the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, the AUF Europe de l’Ouest and Librairie La Page in London. SMLC and Language Centre students of French who love reading and want to discover contemporary Francophone literature are invited to join us. We will read the shortlisted novels together, we will discuss them and take part in awarding the Choix Goncourt UK 2023.
