Many people find it easier and more effective to collaborate on whiteboards than using more linear formats (documents, emails, discussions threads). Whiteboards can combined text, images, and interconnecting lines, laid-out in ways that reflect the structure of the information they contain. Digital whiteboards add to this the ability to save and reload, pre-structure the board following templates, continue interacting between meetings - and much more. In this session we will explore methods for using digital online whiteboards in class or in meetings, and asynchronously between sessions.

These techniques have powerful application for teaching, learning, research, and outreach.
