We are delighted to announce that the 2020 Branch Conference will take place from the 16-17th April at the University of Cambridge.
Conference registration is now open via our online registration form. Please note the deadline for delegate registration is midnight on Friday 13th March 2020. We are, unfortunately, unable to process online payments via our website: payment details and instructions will be displayed upon submission of the registration form.
The conference and conference dinner will take place at St Catharine's College, Cambridge. The conference programme can be found on our site here, downloaded in PDF format here, or as an access copy here.
Conference accommodation can be booked via our online registration form (see packages 1, 2, or 3). The majority of our conference accommodation will be based at Jesus College, Cambridge, which is a 10-minute walk or taxi ride to St Catharine's. These are all single ensuite rooms, with breakfast included.
The 2020 conference will feature a wine and soft drinks reception generously co-sponsored by the French Section of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics and the Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic. The programme also includes a visit to St John's College Library Special Collections for a guided tour of the Old Library and the chance to see a selection of manuscripts.
Thanks to a grant from St John's College, Cambridge, we are delighted to be able to provide financial support for the attendance of postgraduate, retired, and unwaged delegates. If you would like to be considered for this funding, please indicate in the section provided on the registration form. Please note that we cannot at this stage confirm exact figures, as these will depend on demand.
