Undergraduate Students
Tuesday 30th September
14:00-15:00 (Woods Scawen Room, Warwick Arts Centre) – English department meeting for Joint Honours students (BA Film and Literature students only)
This meeting is for students on the BA Film and Literature degree only (not for BA Film Studies students).
Meet key people in the English and Comparative Literary Studies department and find out about the English Literature side of your degree.

Wednesday 1st October
10:00-12:00 (Lecture Theatre FAB 0.08, Faculty of Arts Building) – Film and Television Studies: Welcome and Induction (All undergraduate students)
Meet key people in the Film and Television Studies department (including other students on your course) and find out everything you need to know for your first weeks.
Friday 3rd October
10:00-12:00, Campus Scavenger Hunt with Student Mentors (All undergraduate students)
Meet other people on your course, including your Student Mentors, and familiarise yourself with the campus. There will be prizes for the winning team.
- 10:00-10:30, Jim Davis Studio FAB 0.20, Ground Floor of the Faculty of Arts Building), meet your Student Mentors and be given tasks for the Scavenger Hunt.
- 10:30-12:00, work in teams to complete the Scavenger Hunt. You will have until 12pm to complete as many tasks as you can.
12:00-13:00, FAB Academic Studio (Floor 1 of the Faculty of Arts Building, next to the Film and Television Studies staff offices), Lunch and Prizes (All undergraduate students)
Meet back in the Faculty of Arts Building for food and refreshments, and find out which Scavenger Hunt team earned the most points.
13:00-14:00, FAB Academic Studio and Screening Rooms (Mezzanine Floor of the Faculty of Arts Building), Meet your Personal Tutors (All undergraduate students)
After lunch, you will be introduced to your Personal Tutors and meet with them in one of our Film and Television Studies screening rooms.

Wednesday 1st October
10:00-11:30, FAB0.10, Film and Television Postgraduate Student Welcome and Induction (All new postgraduate students)
Welcome and greetings from Professor Stephen Gundle (Director of Graduate Studies) and other key members of staff.
11:30-12:00, FAB0.10, International Student Meeting (International students only)
Meeting with Stephen Gundle (Director of Graduate Studies) and Julie Lobalzo Wright (Director of Student Experience and Progression).
12:00-12:45, Welcome Lunch in the Film and Television Studies social space on Floor 1 (All new postgraduate students)
12:45-13:15, Academic Studio (Floor 1 of the Faculty of Arts Building), Meetings with Personal Tutors
13:15-14:30, Meetings and Q&A sessions with current postgraduate researchers in the department
14:30-15:30, Library induction with Andy Calvert
15:30, Introduction to the PhD Methods Reading Group with Professor Stephen Gundle
