Along with collaborator Rosalind Galt (KCL), the department’s Karl Schoonover delivered a keynote address about queers, mud, and Brexit at a conference entitled ‘Construction of Identity in the UK: Socio-Political Discourses’ on Friday, 9 February, 2019. The conference was hosted by the Faculty of English Civilisation at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
