Conference Lunches

Warm conference lunches will be served from Rootes Restaurant in the Rootes Building on each of the three days. If you plan to attend any of the following lunchtime events, you will have a separate lunch served at that venue:

Postgraduate and ECR Informal Welcome

Where: Varsity Pub (raised area at the back of the pub), on Warwick's campus

The evening before the conference begins - postgraduates and early career researchers attending the conference have a tradition of gathering for an informal drink and/or meal. This year, that will take place at the Varsity pub on the edge of the University of Warwick's campus from 7pm-9pm. There is an area in the pub reserved for you and you are welcome to order food and drinks to that area on arrival.

Early Career Research and Postgraduate Welcome Lunch

When: Wednesday 27 August, 12pm-1pm.

Where: Oculus 1.09

We, the Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher reps, warmly invite you to the ECR & PGR Welcome Lunch! Come join us for a casual get-together to meet fellow postgrads and early career researchers, chat about your work, share interests, and connect with others ahead of the conference. Whether you're new to TaPRA or returning, it's a great way to start things off and get into the flow of the week. We’re excited to meet you!

(NB. For in-person attendees: Lunch will be served in the room, so please come straight to Oculus 1.09 rather than the Rootes Building. For online attendees: Please join us with your lunch, online, by clicking on the Zoom link and selecting 'Oculus 1.09' as your breakout group).
