Biography

I am currently in my first year as a PhD student in Global Sustainable Development as part of the TRANSFORM programme, funded by the Leverhulme Trust. My research is focused on developing pathways to achieve water, energy, and food security in sub-Saharan countries while considering the impacts of climate change and socio-economic development. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in energy technologies and a Master's degree in Energy Systems. I have experience as an international energy consultant for Ricardo Energy & Environment and as a senior energy market analyst at Energy Exemplar. As a consultant, I have worked on numerous projects in the energy sector across Africa, and as an analyst, I have developed datasets for modelling the decarbonisation, amongst other things, of Europe and Africa's power systems.

My research focuses on developing pathways on a national scale to achieve future-resilient water, energy, and food security simultaneously in Ghana.
