Biography

I am a PhD candidate at the Global Sustainable Development (GSD) department at the University of Warwick since January 2023. Before joining my PhD journey, I completed my MSc in Tourism and Events with distinction from the University of Sunderland in 2020.

Research Overview

My research investigates the Rohingya refugees’ community resilience through inclusive tourism development. I am interested in understanding how different dimensions of community resilience concept, inclusive tourism, and entrepreneurship will help Rohingya Refugees achieve moderate resilience. Therefore, my research mainly focuses on Rohingya refugees' voices and experiences and employs visual ethnographic methods to collect their untold stories.


Research interests

My current research is focusing on refugee community resilience, ethnic entrepreneurship, and inclusive tourism development. In addition, I am very keen on ecotourism, destination development, sustainability and international development.
