Current PhD student
Biography
I am currently in my first year as a PhD student in Global Sustainable Development. My research is focused on urban resilience under extreme weather events based on human mobility and socio-economic perspectives.
I did MSc in Environmental Technology in Imperial College London, with specific option of Integrated Water Management. My Bachelor degree is from Jinan University in China, in Public Administration. I worked as a research assistant in Target Malaria project at Imperial College London, where I did spatial and environmental data management to help reduce malaria in Uganda. My research interest includes urban and water resilience in developing countries and global sustainability, and my PhD research is an interdisciplinary project combining socio-economy, public policy and environmental governance about urban resilience and climate adaption.
Research Overview
My research focuses on exploring urban resilience under extreme weather events based on human mobility and social economic factors, with case study of Shenzhen, China.
