How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Prof. Korosteleva attends a highly prestigious conference in San Francisco to present her research at two panels, supported by her SHAPEDEM and AGMOW projects. The conference is normally attracts over 3000 participants, and is a great opportunity to showcase research and build new research networks.

Research Culture & Spotlight Initiatives Day

You are warmly invited to the Research Celebration Event that will be taking place on Monday 29 April in The Slate.

 

This event will be an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding research and impact undertaken by Warwick staff and students, and highlight the amazing effort and achievements that underpin the University’s success.

 

The event will feature presentations and videos showcasing some of the world-leading research and impact work from across our three Faculties; Arts; Science, Engineering & Medicine; and Social Sciences including some of our cross disciplinary programmes which recognises the enormous contribution made by many staff from across the University to research that is critical to our purpose; pointing the way ahead so that, together, we can make a better world.

 

There will also be time for awards to specifically recognise colleagues who have excelled in different aspects of research.

 

Our celebration event will start at 2:00pm (with arrivals from 1:30pm) and is expected to end around 6:30pm, including time for networking. A finger buffet and drinks reception will be served from around 5:45pm.

Ukraine Security Summit in Brussels on 28 May 2024

Professors Elena Korosteleva and Maria Koinova will be representing the University of Warwick's Working Group on Ukraine in Brussels at the Ukraine Security Summit, which will host Ukraine Initiative including Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, former NATO Secretary-General; Štefan Füle; former European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement; Rose Gottemoeller, former Deputy Secretary General of NATO and former Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security at the US Department of State; Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, former President of Croatia; Dalia Grybauskaitė, former president of Lithuania; Oleksandra Matviichuk, Ukrainian Nobel peace prize Winner and European Young Leader alumna; Philippe Maze-Sencier, President of Teneo France and former Chair of Global Public Affairs of Hill & Knowlton Strategies; and Mike Ryan, lecturer on World Affairs and Russian history and former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for European and NATO policy; and many others.
