Getting Started with Theory of Change

First we will share practical Ideas on how to identify a workable goal and outcome and how this is significantly different from the “business as usual” approach used in most research applications.

We will then break out into small groups and dive into creating a TOC. The small groups will start a brainstorm of ideas about what this research initiative can realistically achieve.

Developing a Theory of Change

Groups will be rotated as it is helpful to have a wider awareness of the different interventions that are being planned, this avoids any potential bias towards activities which might be more familiar but not necessary what is suitable to achieve the required programmatic change.
