The Walls Will Crumble is an Oxford Belarus Observatory podcast hosted by David Saveliev. Through interviews with leading experts and activists, David explores the intricacies of one of the most important turning points of recent history - the 2020 Belarusian protests. David has covered the protests on the ground in Belarus and researched the country extensively.
David interviews Artyom Shraibman, a renowned Belarusian political analyst and a non-residential fellow at the Carnegie Endowment. They discuss the 2020 protests and their global implications.

David interviews Maksimas Milta of ReThink. Maksimas is CEE Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the US and Associate Analyst at the Eastern Europe Studies Center. He is currently based at Yale University (European and Russian Studies). Earlier, he served at the European Humanities University, a Vilnius-based Belarusian University-in-Exile for 8 years. David and Maksimas discuss the way diaspora politics played into the 2020 uprising as well as the role of Belarus' western neighbour states.
