WATE writing workshops
You are warmly invited to two online workshops that aim to support you in crafting your WATE Nominee Statement.
Both workshops offer a supportive environment that will lead to demonstrable steps forward in your application writing process. We encourage you to attend both, but you are welcome to come along to just Workshop 1 or Workshop 2.
Colleagues working on a Collaborative or a Community and Culture Award Statement are encouraged to attend with other members of their team/community.
Registration opens: 1 April 2023.
Workshop 1: finding your focus
This workshop will initially explore the WATE criteria. It will then involve supported and structured conversations about your teaching practices or collaborative activities. These conversations will help you to identify areas of focus for your application. You will be supported in the workshop to outline a plan for your next steps.
Faculty awards:
Tuesday 18 April, 11:30 - 13:00
Collaborative and Community & Culture awards:
Monday 17 April, 12:00 - 13:30

Workshop 2: crafting your narrative
The focus of this workshop will be strengthening the thread of your application narrative in relation to the award criteria. A dialogue-focused approach will support you in crafting or refining a reflective and convincing account of your practice and activities. You will be supported to identify your remaining actions ahead of the submission deadline.
